Great addition to my elixer 2 tent. Simple set up and extremely functional in serving its purpose. Steak and guy it out taught with your tent, and it will perform as designed. I look forward to utilizing it on most my excursions regardless the additional weight.

I can ’ t be Happier with my purchase, I Am Impressed with the quality and performance of this tent. I also bought the Gear shed which is a Great addition. I highly recommend this tent.

5 Todd O.
I 've used MSR products since my teenage years. I 'm now 52. I 'm still using a stainless cook pot from when I hiked the Appalachian Trail when I was 24. MSR makes some of the most reliable gear out there. I bought a hubba hubba 2 and decided to add on the gear shed. First, the tent itself is well thought out and made of high quality materials. Super light as well, even with the additional ground cloth. Second, I do n't know what I would do without the gear shed. I 'm solo motorbiking and the two fit in the tent stuff sack. The shed provides me the room I need for the additional riding gear and a place to throw everything when the afternoon thunderstorms hit. This way I can live a more civilized life in a tent that has plenty of room for playing cards, leaving the wet and smelly stuff outside the tent. I 've been hit with a lot of weather and the two stand their ground, keeping me and my gear dry and happy.

awesome very pleased makes the whole package worthwhile with lots of room

Combined with the Hubba Hubba 2 it was the perfect tent for a 16 day bike tour across Oregon in late October. Lot's of space to store wet gear and to cook in a storm.

Imagine it ’s 2am. Your alarm is going off. You don ’ t know where your headlamp is. Or where your phone is for that matter. You fumble around in the dark until you find your phone. Not with the birdhouse! Just reluctantly reach up out of your cozy sleeping bag and all the small bits and bobs you need are immediately overhead. Also makes for a good headlamp holder for a chandelier effect. Happy camping!

5 Outdoorsperson
[ I love BIRDS, and I love these hanging organizers. Have three of these, all of them, it's crazy, but I love them. I use the three- shelf in my 4 person tent. The one shelf is great for a one or two person tent. Just got the 2- Shelf and it is just the right size. Well made and holds up well. Only wish they came with a stuff sack! Made my own. Fun, handy, and useful product. Get one!

5 Fresh Legs
[ Just the right size for inside the tent. It will fit a modern full- size iPhone

Just what my tent needed- a place to stash stuff, a LOT of stuff. And with two 'floors' to this little gem my partner and I have room to keep all of it up and away

[ The Birdhouse 3- Shelf Hanging Tent Organizer is a fantastic space saver! Keeps valuables and small fragile items like eyeglasses and billfold out of the way and dry. Also holds my flashlight from the ceiling so I can see what I am doing without a hassle. Get this!

[ Finally bought one of these; very pleased with it. No matter the plan, the attempts at order, the usage of space, the this, the that; the whatever; the inside of the VW Westy is simply CHRONIC tiny in so many ways! This does well with getting spices, phone, lights, wallet, etc; up off of surfaces; and soooo OUT OF THE WAY. Love it; glad I finally got one.:)

[ My headlamp, earplugs, everything I need when I need it is right there in the center of my tent within reach. It is also really cute without being loud.

[ I bought this for bikepacking, but will use this for all my backpacking trips too. Tent is super lightweight, and very small packed size. Easily fit between the hoods/shifters on my gravel bike. Nice storage, with a full shelf along the foot end of the tent. Lots of pockets. Footprint provides a floor outside under the vestibules. Ca n't wait to go outside with it again!

5 TP1234
[ We 've been excited about using the UL3 for our trips as it has a bit more room than the UL2. The setup is a breeze, the double doors are also super convenient and the UL3 has great storage options inside for both of us. The ultralight tent material is very thin, so I hope it remains durable through more uses. But we really love the tent setup and bike- specific features, such as the daisy chains on the stuff sack for mounting the tent anywhere.

5 Jonnya
[ Really compact. I haven ’ t used it in the field yet but I love it already. It fits on my handle bars nicely and is super light weight. My wife and I fit perfect

This tent met every expectation for my camp in the mountains of Colorado for nearly 2 weeks. Temperatures reached single digits at night, but I stayed relatively warm compared to other folks who spent the same amount of money on other brands. I would recommend this tent for anyone who wants maximum thermal protection at a great price

5 Peter
Absolutely the best single wall 4 season tent! I have yet to have any condensation on the walls even with two people, snow covered gear after a long exposed trek! I do own three other 4 season tents and this one is by far superior. I have only used this tent in an alpine environment. It handles wind so well, I sleep so much better in here without a fly flap flapping. This tent is so quite in the wind. The 3 zips on the door allow good high low ventilation. And the top vents honestly seem enough airflow in an alpine environment. Also because of the shape snow loading isn ’ t really a problem. Iv also found it keeps you quite a bit warmer then most tents as well. I would not use this tent in the summer. This is an above tree line tent for light and fast missions where you need excellent cozy protection. My only complaint is I wish they made it 2- 4 inches longer. I ’ m 6. 4 and with an inflatable pad I do touch both sides. I am most comfortable solo in this tent at a diagonal.

5 Greg O
Absolutely bomber is extremely high winds. I use it when I am in the mountain solo because it provides ample space for one person( it's long which is great) and a whole bunch of gear

5 Casey H.
I 've used this tent for years and it has never let me down. High winds, heavy rains, desert sand sand storms. These tents are simply one of the most bomber tents around.

5 Carter O.
Eldorado Tent arrived as expected in October 2022. Still waiting on winter conditions in White Mountain area of New Hampshire, so have yet to test it in real conditions, but after setting it up in the house I can confirm it feels sturdy and warm, appears to have reasonable ventilation, and is spacious for one person. For two people, it will not fit gear- so the optional vestibule will be a must for inclement weather. The interior Todd Tex material is interesting- unlike any tent I 've ever owned. If you have ever felt the inside of the cheap `` Frog Togg '' rain jackets, that is what it feels like- except much burlier. I would be concerned about durability, but it the outer shell material feels bomber and the guyline attachment points should help to shed wind in bad weather. In short, I 'm pleased and have high expectations- and looking forward to a bomber tent to test in the alpine!

Compared to the original I tent from bibler, this tent has improved materials with the same architecture. Best 4 season and by weight EVER!

5 David W.
I have had the firstlight 2 person tent for years. I think it ’s the best lightweight option for the money. I ’ m heading to Alaska soon so I got the 3 person to make room for some more gear. I am confident it will keep me dry.

5 Devin R
I purchased this item and hiked deep into the woods for a few nights. This item was light and had plenty of room compared to other tents that my friends had.

5 Zachary T.
I ’ ve been issuing REI tents for years, thought I ’ d give this one a go. It is insanely light and quick to set up. It ’s handled well in snow storms up in the Wasatch and windstorms out in Moab. Make sure you grab a ground layer, but other than that it ’s a great purchase

[ Killer product. I have a few 2- person tents and this is my go to now. Love the extra space on the side for additional gear in your tent without taking up your sleeping room.

[ I 've used this tent for many years of backpacking and car camping and it has held up great. The setup is easy and intuitive, probably one of the fastest tents to set up that I 've owned.

5 Va757
[ So I bought this tent for a trip into the Angeles mountains with friends and it was great!! It ’s the little things that matter with this tent. You have ample room with the vestibules areas and the poles are colored coded so it only took me 5 minutes to set up the actual tent. I got my socks wet during the trip and clothes hanger worked perfectly along with having more than enough room inside.

I purchased the Alto TR1 after having a disastrous experience with the MSR Freelite 1. The Alto provides superior shoulder and headroom, with a well placed door. Its super easy to pitch, and the little triangular space that pops out on the otherwise rectangular floor space makes the tent feel roomier, and provides space for my dog or gear. The vestibule is large and the ventilation, overall, with the fly closed, is pretty good. I bikepacked in below freezing overnight temperatures, and there was a bit of condensation at the foot of the tent, and overhead- even with the peak vents open and the cover unzipped. However, somecondensation is always expected when there is ice on the outside of the fly. 🥶 I highly recommend this tent for anyone looking to lighten their load backpacking or bikepacking. The tubular storage pack strapped down nicely on top of my handlebar dry bag. Well done, S2S!

5 Matthew J.
I bought this tent almost 2 years ago, and am not mad about this purchase. Over the couple years I 've owned it, I 've used it 10- 15 times maybe more not sure. So far it has held up very well. I like how it has three different bags one for tent, fly, and poles. This allows for packing it separate in your pack, or between two packs. You also have the option to connect the pole bag to the fly and tent bag to make it on unit vs three. Also these bags also can serve a purpose inside you tent as gear holders and the pole bag as a lantern which is cool that they have more than one use. However the lantern is a joke as it's hard to snap on and comes off easily, so a good idea just needs some improvement. I found when I first bought my tent that it was hard to pack up as I was folding it up, and then it was extremely difficult to get into the bag, same with the fly. After a few times I started just stuffing in into the bag like a stuff sack, works way better and can have it all packed in minutes. Another thing I love is I was on an overnight backing trip by the coast, and during the night it started to rain and continued till mid morning. I was able to take down my tent and pack it up and fold up my footprint all under the fly. After my pack was pretty much ready to go, still under the fly where it was dry, I then took down my fly and poles packed that and hit the trail! I did get a 2 person mostly to use as a one person and have plenty of room, but have once used it with one of my friends which was pretty tight. So do n't highly recommend sleeping two unless you ’ re comfortable sleeping really close together. There is room for a backpack and some gear under each vestibule so completely doable. All and all I really like this tent it's versatile, practical, and light.

[ Just what I was looking for. First two times it was used got decent rain and it stayed perfectly dry. Had very strong winds that collapsed one side( while nobody was in it and I don ’ t have it tied down, just staked) and it popped right back up when the wind stopped. No damage. The “ wings ” make it a little more difficult to set up with a good tight stretch on all sides, but I do love that extra space inside.

5 tvu01
[ Has handled 4 trips to the BWCA and is still in new condition.

5 ABR Paddler
[ This is just a preliminary review, since I have yet to have the opportunity to use it yet. However, it set it up in my home. So far, it ’s pretty impressive, especially for value. Set up was easy, although a small hiccup with the fly. I was centering the vestibule zipper and things weren ’ t wuite lining up. I went back to the photo of the tent and once I realized that the zipper aligns with the wing, it was easy peasy. The tent is plenty roomy, and just love the wings. Whichever Marmot engineer thought of that is a genius!!! I thought it might just be a gimmick, but it ’s utilitarian and thoughtful. I also love the extra large doors which make getting your gear in a breeze. All the stitching looked great. Time will tell once I get this tent out in the outdoors, but so far, Im delighted with my Limelight 3P

I use it when I 'm camping for more than 3 nights in one area. It allows me to store all my gear that I want to keep dry inside the sleeping area. The vestibule is great for my bike and keeps my camp chairs out of the night time dew. If it rains I can sit or cook and stay dry.

5 Hieu
Loving it so far. Roomier than the last family tent and the vestibule is an added plus. Really like the numerous pockets on the inside to stash lights, keys, and other small items. Wish it included a footprint but that's about the only gripe so far.

5 Wedsly
We went camping near the water and it was perfect for our windspeed which picked up and took out other tents nearby while ours stand in place. I love this tent so much

[ I bought this tent last year, but was only able to use it for the first time a few weeks ago. I was excited to give it a try and was not disappointed. Some high level thoughts: 1. I wanted a tent with a large vestibule AND that I could stand up in. I live in the PNW and we get a lot of rainy days. The amount of space was perfect for my setup. 2. The initial build is a but confusing at first, but once you figure it out is a breeze to setup. The tent uses a snap system that I have n't encountered before but that I find clever. 3. It took me more than a few minutes and few tries to figure out which is the front door when adding the tarp. BA likely could have added some big arrows or something here. 4. Yes, this is a two person tent, but I use a larger sleeping pad, so really only have space for one( ok with me since I solo mostly). 5. Definitely a car camping tent. But it is compact enough when stored to not take up too much room. 6. My only real complaint is the vestibule has about a 6 '' gap around the bottom edges. So you do n't get a real feeling of 100% privacy. I also use the separate footprint and I kept kicking dirt into the vestibule area that required me to constantly sweep out. On the other hand, did n't have any problem with bugs. 7. Love the amount of doors, including the front and side door. Bottom line: This will be my go- to tent for solo car camping, especially on wet/rainy weekends.

Forget how beautiful and visable the color is against fresh white snow! This tent can handle 2. 5 ft of heavy wet snow loading, as I discovered LAST winter in the Catskill Mountains, NY. Now I have 100% complete confidence that it can handle 40- 50 mph winds, that is wind, NOT gusts, as well. For myself solo, the 3P with vestibule is my Kingdom. Sharing the tent with friend was acceptable. Not too cramped and we were able to melt snow, cook, eat, lay down, sit up, lounge, stretch, sleep, hang out, change clothing and not bump heads. Plenty of space. The vestibule, I feel is mandatory in bad weather.. Definitely with 2 people in there and if you plan on being mostly tent bound. The entry doors/bay windows are fantastic for views and ventilation, let a! one entering and exiting. My only 2 grips are small, tight toggles and latches for the doors! Very hard to do in freezing weather, bare handed.. With gloves even harder, but this is something I can probably modify myself, or not, because its not that bad, just could be better. The 2nd gripe is the storm flap on the vestibule door can snag easy if you not careful. And in bad weather sometimes you may want to close it up quickly... So be careful. But that's the vestibule and this is review of tent.. So disregard. I wish I could post pictures of it in action. I also love the blue on the inside!! Its cheery and inspiring even on the dark gloomy days.. stimulate the mind a bit!! This tent is almost the unicorn! Search it on you tube!

Have used this tent in multiple climates and terrain. It ’s the perfect size for 1 person with a good amount of gear. Will work for 2 people. Holds well up to water without vestibule. Confusing to set up at first with poles used inside of tent. Very lite weight tent for back packing. Kept warm in 20 degrees and held up in 50+ wind. I do recommend buying vestibule to use for gear storage and heavy rain.

I would say that I am 6 ’ 2 ” 205lbs and me and another person for pretty snug. I never had to fit three but even going HFH would probably be too tight.

Incredibly strong light weight tent. Those don ’ t normally go together. BD nailed this though. Used on numerous bikepacking trips in a variety of conditions from our right rain downpours to moderate snow. Stayed dry every- time and the internal pitch is key. Excited to finally own one of these tents and use for more years to come. Tents are 4 season which= smaller internal dimensions. I bought the 3p for use as a good 2p or big solo.

I ’ m 6ft and slim and shared with my two sons( 10 and 8). We all fit well with room for gear. Set up was pretty simple but not terribly easy with the interior pole situation. The interior Velcro system to hold the poles isn ’ t perfect. Overall, for the size and packable weight, I ’ d 100 percent buy again.

[ Two person set up is easy and quick. 1 person a little trickier, but I got the tent for 2 person camping anyways. One night was 17 and it stayed warm enough to keep the water unfrozen. We had condensation that night. Next night we opened all 3 vents and had no condensation, a little colder but our water was slushy, not frozen solid. Overall I ’ m very pleased. They did send me the wrong sized foot print, but that ’s not really a quality issue. Overall I like it.

[ this is perfect size for 1 person with extra room for bag and clothing inside. It really is easy to set up, even for first time it took 5 min for myself. Really warm and cozy inside.

[ its a great tent but it just barely fits too standard sleeping pads inside. Also compared to other two man tents it can take a while to set up.
