With the soft handle it takes up less space and is easier to pack. It is insulated and is a good size for its intended use. [ Great mug. I love being able to heat water directly in the mug. HotLips are nice, it prevents the metallic feel and obviously keeps the drinking surface cool. With that said, sometimes I find myself halfway through my tea before I realize I forgot to put the HotLips on as over the tea cools to the right temperature to drink the mug rim no longer burns the lips.

[ Im sure many can agree with the sentiment, coffee is a necessity for me. I ’ ve messed with several options( gsi javapress, aeropress, hario v60, to name a few) and so far this delivers as great a taste as my home chemex and packs small enough to fit in my front pocket. I saw some reviews posted complaining about the assembly time. I don ’ t get what they had a problem with because it ’s very simple and it probably takes less than 30 seconds. The ounce counters may complain because stainless steel adds weight but I would argue the quality of coffee from ultralight friendly options.
