Happy with my purchase. Unit is not as long as I thought it was. Checked to make sure before purchasing as I have a very long wheelbase e- bike. Would have liked to see tire guides a little higher to prevent the front wheel twisting once it is strapped down. Problem solved by making sure the front wheel axle doesn ’ t protrude past the end of the guide rails. Once you realize there is an order to strapping your bike down the unit works well and holds the bike in a very stable position. I really like the locks on the upright top tube clamps as it makes it extremely difficult for someone to remove the bike from the rack and you don ’ t have to fiddle with pulling out cable locks. Like that the top tube clamps are telescopic; much superior to the Easy Fold rack, with fixed clamps that made carrying two bikes a massive headache. Also really like the lights and license plate position, although it does take a little while to realize your vehicle is a couple of feet longer than it was. No more tickets for having a covered license plate. Bikes are easy to load and rack carries two heavy e- bikes in a stable manner. Recommended.

I had a bad experience last summer with a bike getting loose on the carrier and due to the velcro straps on the tires, it was the only thing that saved the bike and any cars behind us on I- 75! I like the wheels that allow you to roll the carrier from my garage to the vehicle. The tail lights and license plate holder address safety concerns since my old rack blocked the vehicle tail lights and license plate. We just received our add on and installed the unit. Despite what others have said about fit and build quality ours fit with no issues and works great. The only draw back was the lack of detailed instructions but with the other rack I was able to figure out the wheel attachments. Overall great product.

[ As my youngest learned to ride and began joining us on the trails we needed a better way to transport 4 bikes. Going with the T2 Pro( and the add on) is so much easier than the “ hanging ” racks, particularly for four bikes. very solid and stable over bumps and on the highway. If there ’s a downside, it ’s that its pretty heavy in the four bike configuration so less likely to Want to remove the rack from the car frequently.( Two person job for sure.). The integrated cable locks making stopping for a bite possible although they ’ re not long enough for both wheels and frame so for overnight stops With expensive bikes an additional locking setup would probably be wise. You can also order cylinders for the extension to match the base rack so you ’ ll only need to carry one key( strongly recommended.

I purchased this a little over a month ago. I have a 2024 VW GTI. I wanted to use roof bike racks with it, but any roof rack will not allow the sunroof to be opened. I looked around for a hitch bike rack& the epos seemed to check all the boxes. It is built very well, it is very easy to use, putting it on my car is quick,& so is loading my bike on it. Originally I purchased the traditional car bike rack but with having two mountain bikes the fit was just two tight and the bikes were are odd angles. I returned it to Dicks with no issues and purchased this one. It took a few minutes to setup but for the most part it is pretty straightforward. The rack is not to heavy and works very well. It is not a heavy duty as the original bike rack I returned but I suspect it will hold up just fine. If I was to pick out any weak points it would be the plastic adjustment knobs other than it should be fine.

After exhaustive research on all eBike racks, it came down to Saris, QuikrStuff, and Inno tire holder type racks. SOOOO many racks to choose from, it gave me a headache. Customer Service answered many questions and took care of my order, very friendly staff. So, the main reason for Saris was design& value of the single tray. PLUS it has something no other manufacturer had: integrated cable lock! Inno customer service was non- existent. QuikrStuff was super pricey with a 6 month wait. The Saris single rack set up weighs in at 56 lbs, ebike weighs 58 lbs, so total weight was lighter 90 lbs lighter than me. Easy to mount to my Ford Maverick. Mount Hitch allows tailgate to open completely when tilted down one- step, Love my Saris MHS DUO 1- Bike Tray, Mount Hitch, and Swing Away.

I have owned this rack for about a month now. Its super solid and easily configured for up to 4 bikes which is why i bought it. My only issue is with the upper wheel wedge when used on road bikes with smaller width tires. The wedge just sort of sits on the back tire when the arm is engaged vs. wrapping around the tire. If the wedge were designed slightly differently or there was an alternate wedge for thinner road tires i would be a little more comfortable with it.

Amazing tray system! The connection between tray and hitch mech is simple and very secure. Love that is comes with threaded lock pin. Love the long locking cables. Love that the tray rotates all the way down down to be used as a bike rack while bikes are unloaded. Love the 4 tray setting points on the hitch mech. I did like they way the previous model trays could collapse to make the entire assembly smaller.

The MH2 replaced my old Thule Carrier. The Thule was great and honestly the only issue I had was it's age and the fact that with the longer MTB of today you were pushing the length of bike you could carry. The MH2 system does n't have that issue and this rack is rated to carry Bike( if you 're into that thing). The lever to lift or drop the tray is light enough my wife can do it with little effort. Everything about the rack has been thought about including the cable lock tightly hiding away with a small rubber outer layer to keep things from rattling.

Love this rack overall. Larger weight capacity, more convenient storing( foldable) and it has locks. Three primary boxes checked! I also like the accessories that are available, making this a very versatile rack! Opportunities: One issue is that it does n't lock in the upright position when your bikes are n't loaded.( I usually leave my rack on my hitch from spring to fall. Not'ny more!) Granted, this `` minus '' is minor because it's simple to hitch and unhitch. I just assumed this would be a default feature on any hitch rack. Another observation is a narrower zone per bike. The distance tray- to- tray is on the EPOS is 9. 5 '' vs 11. 5 '' on my older T2 Pro XT. We have 2 e- bikes, which are pretty big. For this reason, we exchanged our EPOS for the EPOS 3. Now I 'm happy!

It ’s easy to use secure easy to lock bikes on wish I bought it many years sooner although it didn ’ t exist at the time it ’s a three car I ’ ve carried two bikes and a regular mountain bike, and worked like a charm highly recommend for regular bikes as well as bikes I have this on my Ford F150 pick up and I put a short extender on it. I have had this Saris Door County Bike Rack for about 2 years. It is the best built and user friendly rack that I have had. It lowers to the ground and I can just push our Electric Gazelle bikes on, secure them and then it raises to a transport position. NO Lifting!! We have been all over the State of Ohio and we love this Bike Rack. A Huge Safety plus is the taillights on the rack for safety in all kinds of traffic. We have an expensive weather cover for our bikes which blocks our taillights on the vehicle, but these are visible and brighter than the vehicles rear lights. Customer Service is great, with whoever I talked to.. with same day contact with email for service or advice... AnneMarie is great. I highly recommend this company and their products!!!

I bought the rack in early September. Used it 4 times and the electrical components became an issue. First, the rack continued to beep, even when it was completely in the up and locked position. Next, the rack became stuck in the down position and the buttons would not allow for a pause or change to go up. I have taken it to a Saris warranty dealer and hope it can be repaired or replaced. I still think this is an excellent rack for our e- bikes and will continue to use it, once repaired/replaced.

[ I 've only used this 5- 6 times in the last month but it is so easy and solid and I am confident it will last many years. It is light enough to make it pretty easy to install/remove from my cars and the bikes feel locked in with almost no movement once attached. The wedge design to take all the `` wobble '' out of the rack is ingenious and so easy! And I love being able to tip the rack away from my truck and van to allow me to open the tailgate on both while bikes are mounted. This certainly is expensive but they did not cut any corners with the materials of construction or design. For the confidence it gives me in knowing my bikes are secure and not going anywhere, it is well worth the price!

Thule fully supports their products. The Wheel Strap was easy to purchase on the site. It took me less than 15 minutes to find and buy. It was delivered to my mailbox in less than a week, and it was very easy to replace the broken wheel straps!!! The wheel straps are heavy duty, and I cracked the original due to my own mistake. My roof mount is old and I have no idea what model, but these worked perfectly. Took a little work to get them on, but they are snug and secure so I have no concerns. I ’ ve owned Thule racks before and never had issues so I bought this one based on previous experience. I ’ m glad I did, it was easy to put together and its first install on the vehicle was easy enough. I put two heavy beach cruiser bikes on it and it handled the weight easily. Probably could not fit a third adult cruiser on it, but a kids bike could or three mountain or road style bikes would likely fit. Great purchase.

I bought this bike rack about 2 weeks ago to use for an upcoming trip and future adventures. I transported 2 Bikes 197 Miles holding a constant 75 MPH. There were no issues with the Bike Rack or any damage to my vehicle. I drive a 2018 Nissan Rogue the Bike Rack was easy to install and did not limit my view. The Bikes were sturdy and did not move a single inch both ways for my trip. I highly recommend this Bike Rack as it's affordable and easy to use.
