[ I confess I was not willing to buy this thermometer as I have another lase termometer. However, I had no option as it was part of the bundle I was acquiring. The box says it is tuned for the corderite stone of the oven. True or not, I can tell I was impressed with the performance of this thermometer when compared to the other one I have.
