Thank you Peloton, on December 10, 2024, I was 314 pounds. Today march 24, 2025, I am 220 pounds. 94 pounds lost. I bought my bike, and the peloton instructors, are amazing. I started with a 5 minute ride, did a ton of stretching, now I went 99 days with a workout everyday. I am 56 years old. I completed all of Matt ’s 120, 90, working on 75, lots of 60 minutes rides, lifted weights, walked, all with my peloton app. I can ’ t think all of Peloton for helping me. I love this bike. I never thought that I would enjoy it so much but it ’s been almost 6 years now and everyday there seems to be something new to discover. I picked up Peloton in the early fall of 2019 and of course it carried me through the pandemic but since then the depth of interesting classes and various workouts have kept me going. Everything about the bike is phenomenal. I had the first version many years ago and the improvements to the bike+ are excellent!! I love the auto resistance feature, the incredible sound system, bigger screen, updates to the software and the overall aesthetic look of the bike. All the instructors are excellent. Do n't have a favorite, although I tend to gravitate to the women, because I 'm a guy. Lol. I use the bike for cardio vascular fitness and it's very easy to achieve that goal with all the motivating and entertaining classes.

I used to own the original Peloton Bike, but I gave it to a dear friend whose husband is battling cancer, and at the time, I also needed to make space after deciding to adopt a second child. Still, I always felt like something was missing. I missed the movement, the motivation, and most of all — Kendall and her powerful mental health rides. So many miles, so much sweat, and more than a few healing tears were shed on that bike. Eventually, I decided to reclaim a little joy for myself and repurpose our underused kitchen nook( we have a dining room we use more anyway). I chose to invest in the Bike+ — and oh my, what an upgrade! It feels truly luxurious, and I ’ ve fallen in love with riding all over again. I really like being able to do strength and cycling at the same time. My two fav instructors are Ally Love and Cody Rigsby. I can rely on them to give me a great workout and also give me some tough love and great words of wisdom, without taking themselves too seriously. I hadn ’ t worked out for months before getting a peloton and I ’ m feeling myself already being incredibly motivated to exercise. I can feel my body getting stronger even after 3 days. I ’ ve been using the NordicTrack G LE recumbent bike for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it ’s been a pretty great experience overall. The console isn ’ t anything fancy—it ’s pretty basic—but it gets the job done. It connects to my iPad via Bluetooth, which I love because I can track my stats and see detailed feedback during my ride. The info it gives is actually pretty helpful and motivating, especially if you ’ re working on improving your fitness. The seat is super comfy! It ’s got a good range of motion, so whether you ’ re tall or short, you can adjust it to fit just right. I ’ ve had no issues riding for extended periods, and the seat feels supportive without being too hard or too soft. The resistance feels smooth when adjusting, though I ’ ll admit the lowest level is a little tougher than I expected. It ’s still manageable, but if you ’ re a total beginner, you might feel it right away. One small thing I noticed is that the pedals feel a bit wider than what I ’ m used to on a regular road bike. I threw away my 40 year old stationary bike and replaced it with this one. I am so surprised how quiet it is when I ride it. My old bike had a chain and made so much noise. I think the bike is great. Well built and strong. Seat is large and comfy. It has been over a year that I have not rode a bike so I am starting with less tension and will increase it in time. I like the tension adjustment and the easy height adjustments. I would recommend this bike. The bike was packaged very well and I was glad nothing was wrong with it since the box had seen better days in transit. I also chose not to keep the foot straps on the petals when I ride. Nice that you have a choice to keep them on or not. My friend was visiting from Taiwan and put the bike together for me so quickly since he works in the industry. I thought I would hate writing indoors but this simple machine has gotten me to a point where if I go too long without an indoor session I make excuses. It made the winter training more than bearable as the temps and snow just kept on dropping for months. I set up my laptop on an ironing board in front of the bike, fan blowing hard core, and have knocked out three hour rides, power intervals, tempos and sprint intervals. This is really my first __quote__spinning__quote__ bike experience. I 've used the generic exercise bikes at the gym, but none like this. _x000D_ With no experience, I figured that I should get one with the monitor, with the SPD pedal option, a heavier fly wheel( because I 'm a large guy), more adjustable handlebars, and the magnetic resistance. The monitor is pretty easy to understand after reading the instructions and watching a video. _x000D_ The only complaint I have- and this seems to be universal with this type of bike- is that there's no good resistance indicator. I 'd be happy with any sort of indicator that would show how many turns or half- turns I 've made, to have a way to easily see what resistance level I 'm at. I have seen a few such things on Etsy so maybe I 'll get one. Otherwise, it's met and exceeded my expectations and I have no worries that it 'll fall apart any time soon, if ever. _x000D_ I 'm surprised that they market other models more. Was gifted this for Christmas this year and had it set up the next afternoon. Took less than an hour to get it set up with bike attached and I am not someone who typically does my own work on my bike so removing the rear wheel was a new experience. Clear instructions, easy to follow. The most confusing part was trying to understand how to affix the included speed/cadence sensor to the rear wheel hub. The instructions for this are small, and images were not helpful but once I figured out the steps, it was easy. Was up and riding a couple training rides on Rouvy, using the included free month trial code, by mid afternoon. First impression is that I will be happily using this daily at least.

[ Assembly- went together in leas than an hour once I got it all unboxed. Make sure that you assemble this where it is going to be used. It weighs quite a bit. This is great for stability, but not very mobile. Function- very sturdy and easy to adjust for size and resistance. There is a noticable difference in each step from 1 to 8. I also like the fact that the arm and legs can( and should) be worked separately. You can pinpoint the proper resistance level for each. Extras- The screen is functional and gives you the basics, but not much more and that is fine for me. I know what I want to do for my work out and dont need to pay for a tour guide. Quality- As I said this is a very sturdy machine and even though I have only been using for about a month I have no doubt that it will last.

This is a very good bike, just not 5 Stars. It meets my requirements and was on sale foe what I wanted to spend. However, the pulse monitor worked for a week. The seat isn ’ t as comfortable as others mentioned, it tilts a little forward, washers under the front screw helped. It's easy to put together except for the tension wire. The instructions don ’ t tell you to rotate the bracket down to the base to anchor the wire, then rotate it back to keep it in place( need pliers for this). Took me more time to figure that out than putting the whole the bike together. There is very little difference between the tension settings. But, overall I ’ m satisfied with the bike.

I ’ m in need of hip replacement& terrified, so this helps get me moving until I get more courage! The price was right, it ’s small enough to push under a table.
