I bought this chair for my backyard and it is working out perfectly! The multiple recline positions are great for reading, sleeping, and watching kids in the pool. I also started taking it to my kid's soccer games and this is way better than traditional folding quad chairs. The material is super sturdy and the frame supports my 250 lbs body very nicely. I have now purchased 3 of these. I will never go back to the more rigid camp chair. The size of the bigger option is better for me at well over 6 feet tall. The rocker helps to keep from having to sit scrunched with my knees higher than my hips. This makes a big difference at our kids ’ tournaments for sitting through multiple games. Easy to fold. I just got them. They are super well made, strong, easy to open and to close. The seat is wide and comfortable. The shade is easy to set up and close. This is the prefect chair for the sideline. Seating for two people but the carry bag isn ’ t much bigger than a regular quad chair. I love not having to juggle an extra chair. If your going solo to game with kid the extra seat is a prefect place for their gear then they have a seat when they need it. It ’s also a great kid chair since they can lay down on it and they have room for the toys. The pockets on the back are a fantastic idea. Good place for sunglasses, sunscreen, or snacks. Oversized cup holders give a lot of room for the big water bottles out there or coffee thermos ’s with handles. Wife loves the Adirondack, and this one does not disappoint. We bought two! Assembly is a little challenging unless you have a good( and proper sized) Allen wrench bit. The final two steps are the hardest. The pre- drilled holes for the screws are not aligned. Alignment requires an extra set of hands to pull the armrests very hard to get the holes in place. Need to alternate between the final and next to final steps.

The GCI Outdoor Roadtrip Rocker is an excellent chair that sits on the fence between an `` A '' or a `` B ''. Just a couple extra credit assignments and it firmly passes with straight A's. This chair is very comfortable and does a surprisingly good job as a rocking chair. The back is tall enough to lean back and feel supported. It is wide enough be bundled up in blankets and still have room. There are two things I 'd like have changed slightly. If you are sitting up to a table, or even just forward on the chair it is a bit too relaxed. Lastly, be prepared for a fairly large item when folded. Getting all this comfort into a bag poses a big challenge. Well done GCI!

This chair feels sturdy, it has weight to it and is comfortable. Im a bigger boy at 250lbs and I feel like im not going to blow through it. Other rocker camp chairs have a whine or squeal to them. I have not had that experience with this chair. My wife and I keep them in the garage of our camper. Their folding design works great for some smaller spaces. This is for sure a chair you are not hauling far from the truck or camper. Highly recommend if you are the on the fence.

I like how the chair is adjustable so you can lay flat, sit up, or go somewhere in between. They are comparable or even slightly more comfortable than the ones at an all inclusive resort. [ My husband and I just took these chairs on a five day canoe trip. They easily strapped under the stern seat for long portages and were balanced easily with a stuff sack under the bow seat. They set up in about a minute once you get used to the process and are so comfortable. If it was colder I would line the ventilated seats and backs with a blanket. They are tippy until you get used to them but it ’s not a big deal since you ’ re so close to the ground; also, all lightweight camp chairs are tippy. Too big to bring backpacking( don ’ t pack down small enough for a backpack) but definitely the right chair for a canoe trip!

My family purchased these chairs for the upcoming beach season because we loved the same copany's shade and we were curious to try out their chair. We 've not been to the beach yet, but we took the chair to a recent soccer practice and it worked so much better than our old tailgate chair. The straps were comfortable and easy to use, but most off all the chair was SO much more comfortable than anything we 've used( beach or camping). [ I thought that this would be more like one of the bulky beach chairs but I was pleasantly surprised to find it is actually like the camp chairs that fold up and fit in the bag. This makes it so much easier to carry to and from the beach. It is very low to the ground so it is good for keeping your toes and feet in the sand. It is sturdy and light. You do not have the option of reclining back but you are not sitting up to straight or back too far. It has padded arms and a headrest. It is very comfortable and easy to use.
