I bought my first Classic boat cover about 9 years ago. Those covers were destroyed in less than a year by sunlight. The tie downs turned to graphite within 9 mos to a year. I called to verify that the 5 yr warranty covered that type of degradation and told it was covered. A very nice lady asked me to take pictures of the damage and email them to her. I called a couple of days later to make sure she got the pictures and she said yes and the cover had been shipped. It arrived on the next Friday. I had problems with 3 more tops and each was taken care of rapidly in the same courteous manner. The next top I bought was an Empire top and it started failing within 4 months. I called their service department and they said to pack it up in the original box and mail it to them and they would replace after 30 to 60 day waiting time. My marine mechanic saw that top and told me to go and look the 7 year old top on his boat and it looked almost new. It was a Classic Industries but the material was different than my first Classic tops. I purchased it and it is the best top I have ever had on my boat. I have had it on for 5 months and it still looks like new. Thanks for the best fitting top I have ever had!!

This is my third purchase and installation of a YakGear anchor trolley kit. I loved it on my first two kayaks and had to have it for my new Pelican Catch 100 also purchased from Dick ’s. I often fish areas where winds and/or currents carry me away from a hot spot and force me to quit fishing in order to paddle back to where the fish are. Rope seems soft but has n't worn out after a few years use. Just something I keep an eye on. Works well. Kit worked well. I changed the mount from inside the trailer to outside( who wants to lose space in the trailer bed?) by getting some additional u- bolts and L- brackets to replace the bottom mounting plates. I did have to replace the bolts used to attach the tie down points, as the wrench needed to tighten them would not reach inside the cross bar.$ 2. 50 worth of slightly smaller bolts, nuts and washers fixed the issue. I still need to cut off the excess bolt threads, but it is going to work great for carrying kayaks while still allowing the trailer to be used for hauling other items.

[ I have only used this bike rack briefly, but I love it. My main goal was to have a 2 bike rack that was easy to take on and off the car. This fits the bill perfectly. Since we do n't leave the rack on our RAV4, I was looking for ease of installation and removal. I use a 3/4 '' socket to drive the bolt, so this is quick. The rack seems sturdy, even thought it has lots of plastic. The straps are easy to thread through and pull. The `` arms '' fold down easily for storage. Love it!

OK. So I 'm 70 years old and not really strong enough to handle those big, heavy hitch racks. This works really well. Not too heavy but well built. Straps are easy to secure and loosen( even better than the old Bones I still have after 20 years). The distance from the vehicle to the bike frame prevents scratching the paint, though I do use a bungee cord to secure the front wheel. The hitch sways just a bit but I did not even notice I had it attached once I got going. Would recommend.

I 've had a Bones Trunk mount rack for 10+ years. Converted it from a 2 to a 3 and it rolls on our Jeep for event rides. I bought a Audi S5 convertible and wo n't put any rubber feet on the trunk. Had a stealth hitch installed married it to the Bones Hitch rack. Sweet! So easy to mount and no worrying about mounting straps, etc. It is the bomb!!

This rack feels very solid yet is relatively lightweight. Contrast this to the `` hanging design '' of my previous Yakima rack, which was much heavier and cramped, accommodating only three adult bikes at best rather than its claimed four. The levering motion is very smooth to retract/ lower the rack, and getting bikes on and off is a breeze. The instructions could be a bit better, possibly, but maybe a bike rack is something you just have to mess with on your own until you figure it out. Also, one must be sure to keep even the unused frame straps strapped( tightly) to prevent the small grey insulating pieces from blowing off and sailing away while driving.

This was my third hitch bike rack. My take would be that you can go cheaper and damage your bikes and have the rack fail after 12 months. Or you can go more expensive and get something that looks cooler but adds absolutely no benefit for the core purpose of carrying 4 bikes. I 've had a hard time deciding between getting a soft padded case vs hard case for my bike. I went with a hard case because I want that extra peace of mind that my bike would be protected during the transport. Yes it is heavy, and I do n't mind paying the overbaggage fee vs opening the case and seeing my bike wrecked. I have n't used the case yet for travelling but I can tell it is bullet proof enough to withstand the baggage handlers throwing it around and getting slammed around the plane's cargo area. If you want the peace of mind that your precious bike will be in one piece when you get to your destination, go for a hard case, and the Thule Transition is one of the best cases out there. I like how it has the stands to transform it into a bike repair stand, may need to put foam padding on where the straps would go onto the bike to avoid rubbing.

I ’ m glad I did, it was easy to put together and its first install on the vehicle was easy enough. I put two heavy beach cruiser bikes on it and it handled the weight easily. Probably could not fit a third adult cruiser on it, but a kids bike could or three mountain or road style bikes would likely fit. Great purchase.

I use this mount in my Avalanche. I had to do some creative thinking in order to get this mount to work with my truck bed as it is not wide enough up top. I had to turn it sideways and mount within the bed using the plastic sidewalls of the bed liner and it's indentations to properly secure. I 've only had this cover a few days so not much to say so far. I do have one area of concern. The four corners where the t- top portion of the cover meets the rest of the cover; I think these four places may fail first. I think they should reinforce the four corners somehow. I will give feedback on this later. Overall this cover is really nice and fairly priced and easy to put on even doing it by yourself. Covers my 2003 Sea Pro 180CC nicely, it even covers the motor so no need to buy an additional cover for just the motor.

I just got it and fitment is great on my 1997 196 key west center console with t- top. I have short bow rails and it still fit great! It covers the engine also. Very high quality construction and I like the way it ties down to the trailer. I would not reccomend trailering with the cover installed. The only down side i can see so far is the stuff sack for when you are not using the cover is a bit small. I do n't think any one will fold this cover up the way you will receive it to get it back in the storage back, but that is minor.
