The lofts are strong but for me I ’ m getting a high ball flight with a soft landing. I have an average swing speed of 80mph with my 7 iron and that ’s my 165 club. Also the irons are very forgiving as I ’ m only losing 5 or 6 yards on mishits. Only con is the grips are very thin as you may need to replace them as I did.

I just got into golf about 9 mo. ago- I 'm currently a 27 hdcp, and struggled to hit my 7i 130- 140yds previously. I was looking to get out of my previous Callaway Edge box set that had graphite shafts. They became too light for me and I wanted to grow into a new set of irons as I navigate swing changes and proper technique. During my fitting I did n't have a specific brand in mind, to be honest these were n't even on my radar. After testing out 4- 5 brands it was a tight race between the Ping G440's and the Elyte's. I found the Elyte irons were exactly what I was looking for. They check all the boxes: look, feel, and sound great. These irons have a slimmer profile compared to most game improvement irons out there yet offer an insane amount of forgiveness. They definitely have a softer feel off the face, almost like they 're forged. I got my goal yardage from these clubs and it was a done deal after that. Ironically enough my set arrived a few hours before my first tee time of this early season. Quite the way to break in a new set of irons. This Iron/Hybrid( Max OS) set is working great for me. I ’ m 62 and benefit from the oversized head design along with Regular shafts. My only concern is the pricing. I work at a golf course so I got my set as a gift from the head pro, but I could never afford these. I realize the amount of R& D that went into these and the hope to recoup monies but the only people buying these are rich, old guys. The rest of us lug around old clubs… All in all, great golf clubs as Callaway is known for, but truth be told, they still need to pay their tour pro ’s.

The pitching wedge came with a KBS regular flex shaft with a super stroke grip. It feels so comfortable in the hand. I ’ ve played with these irons twice and hit them on the range once. So far I ’ m seeing about 10 additional yard per club. I ’ m seeing better quality contact on slight misses. At 72 I finally dropped down from stiff shafts to regular flex and that seems to help as well

I bought a full set of Ping G430( 1- 3- 5 wood, 4i- PW) before the beginning of my last golf season in 2024( purchased in March, 2024). I love these clubs. Forgiving, great feel, consistency. Despite the stronger loft than my previous irons these remain really easy to hit well and keep on target. If you are in the market for new clubs you really should give these a chance.

Many years ago I had the first PING irons SS 1001. Over the years I 've had most of the brands. I recently bought the 430 Driver, 3, 5& 7 woods and liked them so much I ordered the irons. PING really hit a grand slam with the 430 woods and irons. Very forgiving and long! If you ca n't hit fairway woods, try the 430's. Get fitted!

I am a 7. 2 handicap. Hit these clubs and fell in love with them. They look fantastic and have a nice feel without the harsh sound that some hollow body clubs produce. They are strong lofted so they are about 7- 8 yards longer than my previous set but still have enough spin and height to stop on the greens. I was torn between this club and the T200 and considered go with a mixed bag but in the end decided to go with the full set of T350's. My dispersion and distance control have met all my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is if you like to work the ball in either direction this may not be the right club for you and I would look at the T150's. Spin numbers and descent angle are good but not in player club territory IMO.

I was thinking about getting the older T300 irons, but decided to do a fitting. At the fitting I was able to swing them as well as these, and I 'm glad I did. Ended up deciding on these, have played 3 rounds with them, and have already seen a big improvement in my iron play. I ’ m retired and I play once a week with two other gentlemen who are 10+ years older than me and I was constantly being embarrassed because they always out drove me until I bought this bad boy and now I hardly ever get out driven. Bought this iron set for my son( 13). He outgrew his junior clubs, but not quite tall or strong enough yet for men ’s clubs. He ’s hitting the ball so much better than with his junior irons, which were a pretty good set. You definitely get what you pay for- and these are worth every penny. I thought he hit the standard Qi irons well also, but he liked the feel of these( Qi HL) better. Only complaint would be the grips are a little funny, but we bought from one of our local golf shops. We ’ ll see how he feels about the grips after a few more rounds. Overall, he loves them and I think is a Taylormade fan for life.
