Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

I finally found a great second shoe for faster days! It's got the support I want from my Adrenaline, but less cushioning- and more importantly much less weight. It's lighter but does n't feel too flat. Testing it a few times on one of my regular 7- 9 mile routes, I have been consistently 30- 45s/mile faster each time I ran which I credit to the shoes being lighter and likely getting a little bit faster foot turnover.

I am older, and just started my running game, but I do walk a lot with the weighted vest. Like most people my age, I do have a little knee pain when running, especially before I hit my stride, but I have found that the discomfort is minimal while running in these shoes. To me they are considerably lighter than my launch 9 GTS and I can definitely feel that while I 'm running. And though I 'm not fast, I do run for 30 to 40 minutes at a time with some of that being in a weighted vest and still do not have the knee pain that I had before while running in other shoes like my launch 9s. I also like the way the laces lay up the side of the foot rather than the top of the foot and feel it's more comfortable some of my other shoes as well. I will almost definitely buy another pair of these before they change it up again.

I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. I was doing more trail/gravel running til late winter& switched to the track for later runs. This is my first carbon plate Nikes and I ca n't believe how much faster& lighter they feel on my feet. Of course now I want to try the vapor/alphas as well. I have really high arches and it is like they made this shoe to fit me perfectly. I may end up putting my insoles in but I had not even needed them for my first week of runs in them. I 'm definitely going faster than I 'd even imagined. Great shoes. I ’ m relatively new to road racing( having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

I 'll admit that I have always thought Altra shoes were not for me. Between the squared off toe box and the zero drop DNA; I just never gave them a chance. They are my first “ plated ” racers, so it was a new feel for me, but as someone who has owned many pairs of Brooks, it was also very familiar. They are comfortable and lightweight, with a surprising amount of support for a non “ support ” shoe( I normally buy GTS). The only thing that I 'm disappointed in is that I did n't try these until right before the Vaporfly 4 replaces them. Great shoes for Planter fasciitis, I had the Gel Kayano shoes, but the pain was n't improving. Got the GT- 4000- 3 and the pain was less, added Dr. Shools Planter fascitis inserts and further improvement. Im seeing continued improvement the longer I 'm were the shoes. WISH THEY HAD A FEW MORE COLOR CHOICES FOR FUTURE PURCHASES.

I just ordered my second pair of the Rubatos to replace the ones I ordered a year ago. I walk about 1- 4 miles a day and have worn these on about 66% of those walks. They provide plenty of cushioning and support. I can wear these for long periods of time without my lower back and feet hurting. Suggestions to make this the perfect shoe: a little bit better ventilation, a little more width in the toe box and maybe add 1mm to the lugs. The lack of availability in colors and sizes makes me think these are or will be discontinued:>{ I wish Merrell would make more zero drop shoes and sandals.

The Nike Structure 25 Extra Wide is my favorite sneaker ever. I have flat feet and wear orthotics. My orthotics fit like a glove in these sneakers. The Structure provides great support for runs and are stylish enough to wear with jeans or shorts in the summer. I only wish Nike offered more colors/styles in Extra Wide. I 'm excited for the eventual( I hope) Structure 26 but it 'll be tough to top this sneaker!
