I had the air version and upgraded to this one with air and magnetic resistance. It ’s an upgrade for sure with resistance. Less productive at the 30 minute mark. Only concern with this product is longevity as the volute spring went on the prior model. But I stayed with Sunny as the overall product is good and it lasted long enough to where I don ’ t feel it was a financial loss. I used it often. Fingers crossed this last 2+ years with almost daily use.

The only issue I have noticed is the pedal spacing is farther apart than what I was used to on my very simple and little hydraulic machine by SunnyHealth. But the drive is smooth, the ride is more comfortable because of the fan. and the padded seat. I use this with HOLODIA app on Quest 2 and really enjoy rowing. The main piece is pre- asasembled. You add the pedals, the seat, the slidebar and the rear stabilizer. Very pleased with the sale price and the additional 10% off. Brought the machine cost down to 495. And it is well packaged and protected. It had rained for 3 days and the box was a mess. But nothing touched the machine inside. I received the order from Dick's within 2 days by Fed EX. All of the pieces, nuts,& bolts were included. The two wrenches that they send you are ok, but I used my own. When you get to the part about attaching the two rails for the seat, I found that part a little confusing. Also, the 3 pins that they send you to adjust the seat and hold it together, should be replaced with bolts, especially the one that adjusts the seat. It can pop out while you are doing sit ups. I gave it 5 stars, because it is a solid piece of equipment, and the cushioning is great, so it does n't hurt when you do sit ups. It also has the adjustment of slant, for harder sit ups.

I have been using this unit at our gym for over a year, then bought my own. Only three exercises, one of which does the same thing as a Roman Chair, which is crucial for the lower back; it is called Hyper Extension. If you can not do this for your lower back, those discs will get worst than they are. If you can not do this at least twice a week, skip it.

[ The assembly was time- consuming, but the instructions were clear and all of the parts were easily identified. I have used the unit three times now, and it seems to work fine for my needs. I have an ankle injury and need to get some aerobic exercise not involving my legs. The only drawback so far is that the pedal box is very noisy( a squeaky noise) when you first start exercising. The noise abates a bit after some time of using, but it is still there and annoying. That is the reason I have given a 4 rating instead of a 5. Is there any way to lubricate the mechanism in the pedal box?

Very good bike at a good price! The compact profile makes it easy to fit into a room, and it also fit my 6 ft. 2 body! I would have easily given it 5 stars if it had a more comfortable seat. Yet, I 'll note that I 'm 71 years old, and at 55 I would have had no issue with the seat. Easy to put together, though it will take a little time. All parts fit very well! I would recommend it!

This rowing machine is wonderful! I did not want to give a full star down- rating for only a minor issue, so will leave my rating at 5 stars. The only issue had to do w/the LCD display attachment. There was a one of 4 screws that did not fit properly in the mounting hardware and my display ended up in a crooked position. However, like I said it's only a minor thing and does not at all impact the functionality of the machine. I 'm so glad that I purchased this rower!!!
