[ I bought this rope to use as a cordelette for building anchors at the top of trad climbs. It works really well and has excellent strength rating. I found the rope a little bit stiff when I first got it but it softened up with some usage. BTW I turned this rope into a cordelette by tying the ends together in a double fisherman's. Highly recommend. I would never lead a climb without a rope like this to string up in emergency scenarios.

I was a little nervous when I first saw how small this product was, but after setting anchors and climbing on them I am really impressed with it. [ Got this rope specifically for ice climbing in Lake City. It worked out perfectly! Without it it would have been a challenge to get the master point over the edge. The rope was easy to tie and untie knots in and was a good width to handle. I 'd highly recommend this rope.

[ I like to use webbing for building anchors. Weight and strength. This works. There are times when a static line is better, but I prefer lugging webbing. Just a word of caution, dress your knots or give up on untying.

[ If you need more than 30' of webbing you need to be using rope. These spools store nice. When you pull them out to get ready for a class or an outing, it's 30' of brand new web. Plenty of room on the wrapping to write the date so there's no guessing how old that `` daisy chain on the shelf '' is. Life is short, use good gear.

[ I bought this for making soft tie down points for my Goldwing motorcycle when it is on a trailer. A simple cut to length with a hot knife and tied with a water knot makes custom soft ties. I also use as loop hangers for extension cords. It's cheap and easy.

[ Pros: an extra chain link longer than other comparable personal safety's( i. e. BD Link or metolius PAS). The extra reach is handy for a shorty like me( 5' 4 ''). Also made of nylon for dynamic stretch in case of any falls( while exceedingly rare at anchor, any additional peace of mind always boosts my mental climbing game any day). It's one of the only personal safety anchors to be rated to take on three factor 2 falls from what I 've read. It's also cheaper than other personals on the market. Note the difference between the Chain Reactor and the Pro version is the extra basket loop. Cons: Heavier than most at 113 grams, but I mainly sport climb, so this is less of a concern for me. Also to that effect, nylon is bulkier than dyneema counterparts

I got this to clean routes after topping and love it. Very secure feeling and the green coloring help locate ends super fast when at the top. I do not get why daisy chains are even considered anymore with something like this being made. I have not fallen on it and only use it once I am up top on a route, but I do not doubt its ability to protect me if needed. Highly recommend this for sport climbing and cleaning routes.

I use it when fishing on my kayak. It has good grip and doesn ’ t let me drift off. I tied about 40 ’ of paracord to it and I have been in water as deep as 35 ’. No issues, no drifting.

Must have for fishing. The 3lb is just right size, use 20' line, attach small stainless safety hook at line end and clip to Kayak( in case you tip when not using or line loosens from cleat while fishing) but use cleat on Kayak when anchored.

I bought this anchor not expecting too much from it and on first glance I was n't particularly impressed: the flanges do n't always fold up neatly so sometimes the locking mechanism was hard to engage. However, the anchor performed far better than I expected. My boyfriend and I each had one attached to our kayaks( 14' plastic recs) in the Charles River on a very windy night. Not only did they hold us with no discernible drift for more than three hours, they also held a couple of other kayakers who tied up to our boats. They both came out cleanly when we were ready to leave. For an inexpensive anchor, it far outperformed my expectations. I highly recommend this.
