This is my second pair of this shoe. I wore the first pair nearly every day, year round for three years until the soles wore down. Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I am male, wear a men's size US 6/Euro 39 shoe, and have difficulty finding my size, and a women's size 7. 5 works with this shoe. Asolo was a new brand name for me and I 'm sold on their quality and fit. The waterproof feature is a bonus, especially in winter.

My second pair. They do not replace actual snow/rain boots but get a lot of use. I wear these regularly on rainy days and even New England winter weather. This fit true to size in length but do run a little narrow and will feel tighter in the toe box. I buy the same size as a regular pair of Air Max 90s. [ I have plantar fasciitis and lately my feet are always hurting. I really love these shoes and my feet feel great after wearing them for 1 - 2 mile walks or an all day outing. My orthotics fit in these perfectly. Without my orthotics the shoes rubbed against my ankle, but the inserts lifted my heel just enough so that was not an issue anymore. They are much more rigid than my typical athletic shoes, but that is probably beneficial in my case. I will definitely replace these with the same shoe when the time comes.

I 've had these Leikis for a month now and still love them. I wanted something for urban dog walks that would keep my feet dry in rain and puddles but with enough traction to handle light trails. Perfect for shoulder - season weather when it's wet but not yet cold enough for heavier boots. They 're lightweight and cushy. At the store, I compared these to the Versacore. The Leiki is more snug around the heel and arch, but the toe box is still roomy. The Leiki toe box also has more structure and kept its shape, while the Versacore would crease and press against the top of my toes with each step which I found annoying. I liked the lower heel height of the Versacore, but ended up going with the cushier Leiki which seemed to also have more structure for ankle stability.

[ I ’ ve been seeking for a pair of shoes that are comfortable to walk in long distance, can maintain its support, and ultimately be my go - to walking shoes for the 1+ hr daily walks with my dog. I ’ m usually splitting my time between three different pairs of shoes for these daily walks - leather Jordans for when it ’s slightly wet outside, rain boots when it ’s really wet, and knitted running shoes for the nicer days in case we want to jog at any point during the walk. Because the Gore - Tex is versatile, it was able to address all three case needs and I have been wearing it every day for the past two weeks since I got them. The inside is not as soft like some other shoes but it ’s also not too hard like walking on the cement directly. There is a slight bounce that gives me comfort in knowing that the shoe is absorbing some shock from my footsteps and when I found myself at the beach with them on, I was pleasantly surprised that water and sand did not seep into the front of shoes like it normally would ’ ve with the knits( mind that I didn ’ t walk into the ocean with them on and am referring to an occasional splash while walking on the shore). As for the design, I thought that the little weather icons on the shoelaces was a cute yet settled detail. I was worried that shoes like this would make my feet look clunky, but it ’s giving more of the contemporary fashion with an edge of construction workwear. Highly recommend them for a daily wear! I have yet to test them in arduous hiking or heavy downpours but my impression is that these will satisfy my daily walking needs longer than most other shoes.

I wore these for several hikes including the challenging Kalalau trail on the North shore of Kauai and the Captain Cook hike on the Big Island. They served me well with good traction and good fit( I bought a half size larger than I typically wear to allow a bit of wiggle room). I washed the red dirt of Kauai off pretty easily with just water and left them in the sun to dry. They dried relatively quickly. These are waterproof and while I did n't submerge them in water, my feet stayed dry after crossing a few streams. Overall, these are terrific hiking boots! The only downside is my feet did get hot hiking in the 80 degree weather so maybe not as cool as some other styles, but I was having so much fun hiking, this was barely noticeable! They 'll be perfect for hiking in my homestate of MN!

I ’ m 83 plus and insulin dependent diabetic: try to maintain my walking as probably the best way to help my body ward off the complications of this disease: these new Keen walking shoes are AMAZING!! My gait is much better; I feel more confident and energized than before.

Fits right every time. Bought these as an ankle rocker type, 46 year ortho issue, just right amount for me. If there may be a `` better '' one please advise.

I normally NEVER give reviews but I have a GOOD reason for doing so this time! I ’ m partially paralyzed, I have difficulty lifting my leg and I have drop foot as well( Brain Tumor) I realized the value of round bottom shoes a few years back and my supplier stopped making the shoes. I decided to give the KEEN brand a try “ WOW ” These feel like the best shoes I ’ ve ever worn both comfortable and great build quality as for longevity I have yet to be able comment but these feel like they were built to last. Thank You, Please don ’ t stop making these Men's WK400 walking shoes I will be a repeat customer you ’ ve earned my business. There are many people who have yet to discover the benefit of round bottom shoes hopefully this will help someone else!!!!!
