I use 3in and 4in Big Hammers as my go to swimbait on 1/4th and 3/8th ounce swimbait heads. They have a great tail thump/ body wobble that it just right, not too little and not too much. The tail swims on the fall and does it's thing on the slowest of retrieves. I really like the keeled body because it helps it get down to the bottom quick, rather than round body swimbaits that might suspend in comparable situations with a ton of line out or in moving current. They are reasonably durable and they have a great color selection. They are literally the only swimbait I use on a swimbait jighead!

I bought this after seeing it on one of the fishing shows. They were using it for cobia and of course they always catch their fish on the shows. We are starting to see the cobia show up around Dauphin Island now and wanted to start using more artificial bait. I went fishing last weekend and did not see any cobia but threw the bait anyway around some of the gas rigs and first cast caught a small red snapper and a dozen more after that. Too bad we ca n't keep them this time of year. I went back and bought to Dicks and bought more in different colors. I first bought the red and white color. Pleasantly surprised.

First time using this lure I went off the beach with my buddy looking for cobia but with non to be found, we then saw some birds diving and saw fish hitting on top so we headed that way. The fish that were feeding ended up being a school of feeding spinner sharks I said to my buddy that I aint getting skunked today and grabbed my rod with the DOA Swim mullet on it and the first cast hooked up and landed a four footer. Great action on this lure and held up well against the shark even know I hooked him in the corner of the mouth. The eye did fall off even before I used it that is why I gave it a four, a lil gorilla glue and it was as good as new. Cant wait for the tarpon to come in this year so I can throw this lure in front of them.

I purchased these GAMBLER ‘ little Ez ’s ’ from Dick ’s Sporting Good ’s less than a month ago and have only one left. Not for long though- I ’ m going to Dick ’s tomorrow to get more. Anyways, I slammed them. I use them as swim jig trailers. And when I want them to go deeper I rig them upside down. But they, obviously, work great rigged standard. I even caught a couple peacocks using VMC screw lock swim bait hooks. I highly recommend the gambler Lil Eazy. But don ’ t forget about the Ez and the big Ez. Especially if you are fishing in Florida.

I 've been using Zoom products for several years now and use the swimmin chunk as a trailer on a 1/4 ounce jig and also a 3/8 ounce jig. i usually dip the legs in a chartreuse garlic dye, and most of my jigs are a shade of green( usually a green crawfish) not sure if the bass see this as a bluegill or crawfish; only that it catches fish!! i fish an extremely clear, fairly deep lake so detail is very important.
